Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week
Hello
Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. This will
be a weekly issue. We are Amanda D. Petty and Eric Brown, and we’re poets. This
will show off our diversion of our poetry. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”.
If you want more information, go to: www.prettypettypoetry.blogspot.com.
This one is sweet to read. I did this one for
the Christmas reading, and everyone seem to like it.
Note: Eric and I are taking 2 weeks off: December
18 to January 2, USA. We pray and hope you all have a safe, fun, and the
Merriest Christmas and a Happy New Year. We’ll be back in 2016.
Enjoy the Christmas Poem.
A Star
By-Amanda
D. Petty
A waltzing star dancing across the
black for me to see,
Below was The Lord, born in front of
cows, donkeys, horses.
Love from our Heavenly Father gave us,
everyday people.
A slow star moving across the
darkness,
Shepherds, Wise Men obeyed The Angel,
Saying, “Fear not, for I bring you
good tidings of great joy.”
A precious star lightens the way to
Him,
Simple Birth, a King, my Savior, I
worship.
A Babe, a Friend, understands.
A blessed star knows how to love.
Love for the non-believers,
Love for all.
A singing star with a song of hope.
A redeemer comes to save me,
Saving me from my sins, my fears.
A star, a sign of a rebirth,
Rebirth of my soul, my body, my heart.
A sign of excellent report.
A star.
More Than Poetry: We
take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is
very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To
us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without
any music.
Pretty Pets:

improve on this business. We’re very open on your comments.
