Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week
Hello
Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. This will
be a weekly issue. I’m Amanda D. Petty, and I am a poet. This will show off my
diversion of my poetry. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”. If you want

The
Atonement of Easter
By-Amanda
D. Petty
It’s
Easter morning.
Kids
are finding their gifts from the Easter bunny.
The
real meaning isn’t the rabbit.
It
is Our Savior that sacrifices His own life for us.
You
may be thinking, why?
Heavenly
Father sent His Son because of love.
I’m
just amazed that The Lord would do that for me.
Yes,
it’s fun to make believe in the Easter bunny and that stuff.
But,
don’t forget the atonement.
More Than Poetry: I
take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is
very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. I can understand. To
me, poetry is the true heart of a person. I describe it as: lyrics without any
music. Because of my speech, I can’t talk fast or normal; discovering poetry
has really opened me up.
Pretty Pets:
I want your feedback on “Pretty Petty Poetry”. I want to know on how I can
improve on this business. I’m very open on your comments.
