My Thoughts: This team, that God has given me, is truly
morphing me. I started to teach them all at once. Truthfully, I thought I
couldn’t it. But, Heavenly Father has given me patience and the wisdom to teach
20+ poets at once. Somehow, I truly feel PPP, and everything that goes with it,
was made for me. Yes, I did create it. But, I could have shut everything down
when it was hard. I didn’t. Why is that? Because there’s a reason why I push so
hard through the enough times. It’s make me truly happy, poetry is my blood,
creating is my passion. That’s why. Plus, I love doing this job. Yes, it’s
difficult and extremely stressful. But, the rewards are more than I could ask
for. The rewards are blessing other lives, creating poems, teachings my crazy
team. I am very blessed.
My Spiritual Thoughts:
None. =(
The News:
Bad News: We lost great poets: Lana Holley, N.S. Mpofu, Gul E Arzoo, & Msarki.
They just faded out, and they aren’t reliable.
New members’ Tell:
NotLib: I am very sensible
young man, quite ambitious and my best trait is to try and achieve better. I m
a people's person I am able to speak and understand people with quick ease. I
value my relationship with the people I have around me and I m more of the quiet
type when I want to be. I think one of my best trait is the fact that I m
hardworking and most people that really know me will tell you that. I come from
a good household where my parents instill good values to all of us.
David: My name is King
David Dzirasah. I was born on 4th October 1993 in Ghana, West Africa. I'm
currently pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA) Population and Health at
the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast Ghana. Growing up as a child, I fell
in love with reading. Reading provides me with the opportunity to dream beyond
this world. I also love to write. I like
writing poems, articles and books. I believe that words have the potency to
transform lives. I took a bold decision to self-publish my first book in 2017
titled "DEMYSTIFYING THE KEYS NEEDED TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL LEADER".
I love poetry because it gives me the chance to express my unheard thoughts.
Words have shaped my life and I believe that words can be used as a powerful
tool to bring healing, peace and restoration into the lives of people around
the world. I am a believer.
Meza Lines: Aiyede john is a prolific poet and a
lover of nature. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from university of
Ibadan, Nigeria, where he currently pursues a master’s degree. He has served on
the executive board of several faith-based organizations. He is a Local
Coordinator at Africa Student for Liberty. He is a freelance writer, loves
reading and travelling.
---
Ben Edilson, Who’s he?: Kofi Fianko has a pen-name. He’s known, now, as Ben Edilson.
Your Thoughts: We truly want your thoughts on this poem:
Lesions of lies infesting the minds.
Society a game made up of nothing but fame. Told to follow your dreams then why
do tears follow as they are ripped from seam to seam. Hours of eternity tainted with mistakes in blood,
anger in disgust and failure in ever lasting hope. A smile disguised in
withering emptiness as your soul decays with each twist of mortality you fidget
in disgust. A needle of propaganda mixed in Conformity forced down your throat
like a revolting cocktail at a bad hour. Cracked lips like a broken mirror in
sheer in hatred as society's once good morale now a whisper of smoke. Kindness
thrown aside like debri in a riot of voices.

Poem of the Month:
This is my newest poem. I had a name in; but, I took it out because I
want it to be for everyone.
A Promise to You
By-Amanda
D. Petty
How can you say that I don’t love you?
Long, lonely decades with broken
souls, blue hearts, restless moons, black suns, we’ve been seeking for each
other. I know making a vow is huge. But, doubts and fears are replaced with
sweet love, happiness, and you.
Babe, here’s my promise to you and only
you.
No more crying of sadness because I
will be here to make you laugh with my silliest, little jokes, funny faces I
make. Call me when you’re cold and I will warm you up with my touch, smile, my
heart. I’m your angel who needs you to fly to heaven. Call me when you want to
go to paradise, just investigate in my eyes, you’re already there. Text me with
an emoji on how you’re feeling, and I’ll be the same emotion because whatever
you feel, I feel it also. You have a very unique way with me that no other guy
had. What I feel is not love; it is way more than love. Sweetie, I know my life
is not easy. There will be times that are beyond difficult. In those hours, I
need you. We, you and I, will be crying because of my pains. But, I know, I
JUST know, you can handle it because in your eyes, I’ll find strength that I
need.
So, how can you say that I don’t love
you?
My sweetie, I wish you could walk into
my soul and see how much you’ve touched it. Within a day, I was falling for
you. Now, I can’t live without you. You are my movement, my sight, my taste, my
air, my speech, and I truly do love you.
I promise that I will not leave you.
Lyrics of the Month: Poetry
has a plethora of styles, and our ultimate favorite is lyrics.
I sign this part to MickeyThePoet or M.Ikye.
I truly love his style. M.Ikye, you’re up…
APOLOGY AND DOXOLOGY TO MY DOVE
In the darkest of my
Night I cried with lots
Tears I can wholly tell.
Night I cried with lots
Tears I can wholly tell.
Times with no torchlight
For my sight I searched
For your nightgown as
I drowned in the oceans
Of my own tears but no
One cared.
For my sight I searched
For your nightgown as
I drowned in the oceans
Of my own tears but no
One cared.
Seasons the moonlight
Was on exile for a while,
My heart tore apart as
Though my imaginations
Were of two parts.
Was on exile for a while,
My heart tore apart as
Though my imaginations
Were of two parts.
Times the ink of my cold heart
Poured out to write in the
Tablet of your own palm
Like a booklet, just to say
My greeting to my own dove.
Poured out to write in the
Tablet of your own palm
Like a booklet, just to say
My greeting to my own dove.
The tears from my eyes
Tried to clear,
The passions from my
Broken heart gave a strive
With no fear at all, at this time
I can swear.
Tried to clear,
The passions from my
Broken heart gave a strive
With no fear at all, at this time
I can swear.
Then I write my love my
Letter in the form
Of poems with my words
Coming out in the solemn
Manner with no fuel added
As I could say my
Big thanks and please,
Good nights and byes to
Letter in the form
Of poems with my words
Coming out in the solemn
Manner with no fuel added
As I could say my
Big thanks and please,
Good nights and byes to
To my dear dove!
Although you are gone so
Far but my heart still call
For you cause you are my
All!
Far but my heart still call
For you cause you are my
All!
I may have done the wrong
But still need a second
Chance to prove am yours!
But still need a second
Chance to prove am yours!
You may hate me now,
Just know this that I am
Fated to love you!
Just know this that I am
Fated to love you!
My heart is broken into
Pieces like pots of clay
With no potter to claim!
Pieces like pots of clay
With no potter to claim!
If you could just be my
Potter, the role your clay
I would like to play if it
Matters I pray!
Potter, the role your clay
I would like to play if it
Matters I pray!
Is there any hope to
See you again?
See you again?
Is there cold that'd
Make me go freeze when
I say please today?
Make me go freeze when
I say please today?
Or would my soul sink
Once again in the hay?
Once again in the hay?
Would you just call me
An ass-hole when we meet
Again and I say please? Oh, no!
An ass-hole when we meet
Again and I say please? Oh, no!
But that will not make me
Refrain, cause you are the
One train I'd ever drive once
Again!
Refrain, cause you are the
One train I'd ever drive once
Again!
Now am a broken heart
But will never melt, but I
Am being crushed with
Lots of faults.
But will never melt, but I
Am being crushed with
Lots of faults.
Together I have always kept
Strong in the form of cement
Making me strong because
I know it but for a short time,
Sure!
Strong in the form of cement
Making me strong because
I know it but for a short time,
Sure!
Thanks,
Yours lovely
Romeo.

Want help: If you want to help
with “Pretty Petty Poetry”, you can! We are looking for some volunteers to help
with the desktop wallpapers and getting us clients. We can’t do everything by ourselves
anymore, too stressful.
For New Comers: This is AMANDA’S idea to do this business.
Everything you see is her alone with the help from God. This is a part of
“Pretty Petty Poetry”. She has been studying English with the help from a
professor, Nancy Lowe, from Weber State University, Utah, USA since October of 2011.
