Love, oh! why me
By-Prinsloo TheePoet

Love, oh! why me
For I try by all means yet I can't see
I know love is blind
But why is happiness hard to find

Love, why throwing sharp pains
While my feelings are strangled with tough chains

I cried and asked why
I cried all my tears out
Yet my answers were just drought
I struggled yet the feeling of loving makes me shy

I used to sit on my favorite spot
Hoping for love to find me
Oh! is it a wrong address or I deserve pain instead

I gave up
Yet a single feeling convinced me to man up

You are there looking at your phone like
Oh! that's true
Why is love so untrue
Yet some people are happy

I'm a lost pedestrian looking for love sign
Yet it feels like huge crime

I love with a passion
Yet I get deceived
I love with all of me
Yet I'm not received

You are there asking
Why love
And I say
Its not love, its us
For love depend on how we love

More Than Poetry: We take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without any music.
