Hello Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. I’m Amanda D. Petty and my business partner, James W. Hill, and our teammates, Anna Shepherd, Megan Hill, Abdul Sami, and Khan Baba; we are poets. This will show off our diversion of our poetry. Each week, a different poet will do this.

Good Ole Kentucky Boy
By James W. Hill

As The Kentucky blood runs
through me like a running faucet,
I ask myself, is Kentucky where
I'm meant to be?
Living in the bluegrass state,
so beautiful and quiet.
Except for the
sound of horses,
Running and Naying
all the day.
The name of the area, I
would live in is called the Inner
Bluegrass part of the state of
Kentucky. So much stuff to see and
do and places to go. Oh the
joy and fun, I'll have in Kentucky.

More Than Poetry: We take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without any music.

Pretty Pets: We want your feedback on “Pretty Petty Poetry”. We want to know on how we can improve on this business. We’re very open on your comments.
