Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week
Hello
Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. This will
be a weekly issue. I’m Amanda D. Petty, and I am a poet. This will show off my
diversion of my poetry. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”. If you want
more information, go to: www.prettypettypoetry.blogspot.com.
This one is all of the officers. May
Heavenly Father be with you.
A Prayer for an Officer
By-Amanda
D. Petty
As I lay in my bed, I say this
prayer.
Heavenly Father,
Give him strength for his job.
Give him Thy Hand for the evil.
Give him Thy power.
Watch over him.
Watch over his family.
Watch over his friends.
Give him my love.
Give him my strength.
Give him my heart.
Please Father, let Thy Angels be
with him.
Please Father, let Thy Finger succor
him.
Please Father, let Thee be with him.
I say these things, in Thy name of
Jesus Christ,
Amen.
More Than Poetry: I
take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is
very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. I can understand. To me,
poetry is the true heart of a person. I describe it as: lyrics without any
music. Because of my speech, I can’t talk fast or normal; discovering poetry
has really opened me up.
Pretty Pets:
I want your feedback on “Pretty Petty Poetry”. I want to know on how I can
improve on this business. I’m very open on your comments.
