Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week
Hello
Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. This will
be a weekly issue. We are Amanda D. Petty and Eric Brown, and we’re poets. This
will show off my diversion of our poetry. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”.

This weekend, May 10th, USA, is
Mother’s Day. In the spirit, here’s a “Shape” poem for you all mothers. Enjoy.
For My Mother
By-Amanda
D. Petty
You raise me up, when
I’m dealing with my depression.
When I see you bright
beam, I can’t help it but to smile.
You didn’t give up on
me, when I gave you emotional hell.
You make me laugh,
when my low-self-esteem kicks in.
You didn’t walk away,
when my odious accident came.
You are an incredible
woman, and you’re my angel.
You succor me by your
special, ardor examples.
You put up with my
scornful, harrowed moods.
Mother, with your
love, I’m in sanctuary.
You’re emancipating my
weakness, and
The inside rock comes
out to aide me.
Did I select you to be
my mother?
No, you picked me to
be yours.
More Than Poetry: We
take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is
very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To
us, poetry is the true heart of a person.
Amanda
describes it as: lyrics without any music. Because of my speech, I can’t talk
fast or normal; discovering poetry has really opened me up.
Pretty Pets:

improve on this business. We’re very open on your comments.
