When the rainbow goes faint
_______________
You might be dead in my thoughts,
Yet you live lively in my heart.
I just can't feel you around,
Because you chose a new lane.
And you left me by my loneliness
When the rainbow goes faint.
I had nothing to give but my heart.
It wasn't enough to please you.
What do you need aside materials?
My tears or my caresses?
You are no more a being
In my feeble vulnerable heart only,
When the rainbow goes faint.
But the clouds shall see to it soon,
It shall go black and thick.
It shall let loose the sky's eyes.
So it would weep down fortunes.
And the rainbow shall reignite,
And you might need me now.
But sorry I'm saying I'm not sorry,
Because once upon a time
The rainbow went faint, to you.
Ibn Do Gud
More Than Poetry: We take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without any music.
