My Thoughts: This is EXTREMELY close to home to James and me. On October 1st, there was a shooting at Mandalay Bay Hotel. I can’t write anymore because it’s way too close. I’m letting James take over this part. People meeting at the Route 91 Country Music Concert to see Jason Aldean, and the suddenly bullets start to fly, people shout, and bleeding. At the end of the massacre, 58 people are dead and 546 are injured as a lone gunman shot at the concert from the Mandalay Bay Casino. The gunman is now in hell; the survivors left to heal we know that Jesus was their protector and comforter. May Las Vegas stay #VegasStrong.

My Spiritual Thoughts: As I do this business, I’m finding myself in His Hands. Christ is The Boss of PPP, not me. I’m, and the rest of the team, are JUST the tools. Yes, it’s hard and yes, I want to quit. But, I cannot. This is my real Mission. I believe my life is a Mission from Heavenly Father. I knew this since a very young age. You see, I shouldn’t be here, on earth, because of my accident. I watched the news, and I saw the drowning accidents that do not live. Why did I? I wondered that for years and years. Now, I do know why. It’s because of PPP. I’m supposed to do this business. It feel natural. I feel I’m home. I DID NOT plan having a great team of poets or be an international. But, I am. This IS God’s business for my team and me.

The News:

Two More Members: We have two new teammates, Creative Thinker and Gul E Arzoo. Creative Thinker will be doing “Site Weekly Poem”. Gul E Arzoo will be doing the Disabled issue with me. Welcome Creative Thinker and Gul E Arzoo, to the team!

New Wallpapers: They are new holidays’ wallpapers on the site.

Suitcase: I have a creative team of poets. Ibn & Creative created a new style, called, Suitcase. It’s on the site.

Poets’ tells (Part 3): We have Lana and the newest members…

Lana: MY NAME IS LANA, FROM NORTHERN UTAH. THE JOY OF MY LIFE IS FIRST AND FOREMOST MY CHILDREN! I HAVE ONE GIRL AND TWO BOYS. I AM A SINGLE SUPER WOMEN. AT LEAST I FEEL THAT WAY AT TIMES. I AM THE ONLY GIRL OF THREE BROTHERS. I WAS TAUGHT FROM YOUNG AGE LOYALTY AND RIGHTEOUS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TRAITS TO HAVE AND I TRY TO LIVE BY THOSE VALVES IN THE WAY I LIVE MY LIFE. SINCE THE AGE OF THREE YEARS OLD I STARTED PERFORMING IN DANCE RECITALS AND COMPETITIONS. DANCING WAS A GREAT WAY FOR ME TO EXPRESS MY CREATIVITY AND I HAD THE BEST OF TIMES OF MEMORIES DANCING!  I STILL LOVE DANCING, BUT MY HEALTH KEEPS ME FROM ENJOYING IT AS I ONCE DID. BUT, IF YOU KNEW ME YOU WOULD KNOW I TAKE THE NEGATIVE AND TURN IT INTO A POSITIVE OR AT THE LEAST MAKE ME A STRONGER PERSON AND FIND THE SILVER LINING. THE SILVER LINING IS I GOT TO HAVE SIXTEEN FABULOUS YEARS OF DANCE AND PERFORMING. I FEEL SO BLESSED TO HAVE HAD THOSE YEARS AND I HAVE THOSE MEMORIES THAT WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME TO REMEMBER AND REMINISCE. ONE OF MY OTHER CREATIVE LOVES AND OUTLETS IN MY LIFE IS POETRY. I BEGAN WRITING POETRY AROUND EIGHT YEARS OLD I THINK? IN THE EARLY YEARS I MOSTLY WROTE WHEN I HAD BAD DAYS AND LOTS OF EMOTIONS THAT I NEEDED TO GET OUT AND EXPRESS MYSELF. AS I GOT OLDER I HAVE STARTED WRITING MOSTLY FROM THE SPIRIT! I NEVER REALLY KNOW WHEN OR HOW OR WHERE IT WILL COME, SO I KEEP A PEN AND PAD PAPER WITH ME AT ALL TIMES. SO I'M READY TO BE INSPIRED! EVEN AFTER HUNDREDS OF POEMS I'VE BEEN INSPIRED TO WRITE I'M STILL AMAZED AT THE WORDS THAT I FIND WRITTEN ON MY PAD OF PAPER AFTER I'M FINISHED!!! I AM NATURALLY A DEEP THINKER AND TEND TO OVER ANALYZE THINGS. POETRY IS A GREAT WAY I CAN UTILIZE THE DEEP THINKER AND CREATIVITY WITHIN ME WHICH I WOULD SAY IS ABOUT 90% OF WHO I AM. I KNOW NOT A TYPICAL PERSONAL PARAGRAPH, BUT I'M NOT TYPICAL, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD WRITE THIS THE WAY THAT BEST TELLS ABOUT ME!

Creative Thinker: I am certified Fuseini  Mohammed Kamal-deen but Dipantiche Naporoo Shitobu as an African. I am born and bred in Tamale, the capital of Northern Region. I write under the penmanship "CREATIVE THINKER" with my omnivore’s spirit of writing dubbed "ENCYCLOPEDIA". I am an afro-linguistic poet of unpublished poems and stems voraciously without bias on other genres of artistic literature. I am a Ghanaian teacher and a voice from the Savannah.

Gul E Arzoo: I believe in individual perception which everyone has different, everyone has different outlook about anything and I do respect of it, my all written pieces are indiscriminately for everyone, I would love to work with PPP team, it would be a privilege for me as well to get selected and work on the very topic “handicap”. My only purpose is to please them by my words to make them smile if I am succeeded in this, then it would be one of my great achievements in my life. All members who are working on this platform are dear to me, I respect them from the core of my heart. -Love Gul E Arzoo

A Tradition: Since 2006, Amanda sent out a Christ-Like Christmas Poem to the “Pretty Pets” through the email. Look for it on December 15th. These poems are very spiritual, and she love doing this. We will still send a Christmas poem in the next month’s newsletter. I decided to make this as an online poem. Meaning, no more email.
Seasonal Greetings: November 1-December 20, we’ll be doing poems about the holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays.

Your Thoughts: We truly want your thoughts on this poem:

These expectations are the walls of these halls that I'm sick of. Each shuffling step towards a better finish is just a corner of another broken picture.

Quotes of the Month: There is evil in the world but God is good.

Poem of the Month: no poem

Lyrics of the Month: Poetry has a plethora of styles, and our ultimate favorite is lyrics.

How can I thank everyone who supports me throughout my life, when I have no words? This will be very emotional, so bear with me. First is first, I truly need give thanks to Heavenly Father, for He gave my life and everything. Next is my family, for they saw me in my darkness hour. They are truly the best. Mom, dad, Sheldon, Carrie, and Jesse, thank you for the laughs, fights, tears, and being there when I needed you. My friends, thanks for showing me your love, kindness, and Christ-like. My team, this part is going to be hard because they taught things that I couldn’t learned from any school or textbook. You guys are more than I could asked for. My business partner, James, thank you for not giving up on me. You are the best. The Pets, thanks for making PPP an international business. Thanks for seeing us grow.

I heard this song somewhere, I don’t remember where now. But, it’s a “miracle” that I’m trusting Him by doing this business.

Want help: If you want to help with “Pretty Petty Poetry”, you can! We are looking for some volunteers to help with the desktop wallpapers and getting us clients. We can’t do everything by ourselves anymore, too stressful.

For New Comers: This is AMANDA’S idea to do this business. Everything you see is her alone with the help from God. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”. She has been studying English with the help from a professor, Nancy Lowe, from Weber State University, Utah, USA since October of 2011.
