Hello Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. I’m Amanda D. Petty and my business partner, Eric Brown, and our teammates, Anna Shepherd, and James W. Hill; we are poets. This will show off our diversion of our poetry. Each week, a different poet will do this.

This is a good poem about watching dishes. Eric used excellent word selection. Great job, Eric.
Dishes
By Eric Brown
Dancing merrily around the sink,
Waiting their turn to be washed
After being eaten on.
Turkey and cranberry sauce on one,
Stuffing and potatoes on another.
Dishes singing their marry clink, clink, clink,
As they jump head first into hot water to be Washed and come out nice and clean.
Lined up to dry saying to each other,
"My that was an awesome bath. Let us have Another one soon."
Then to the cupboard they go nice and neat.
Dishes done.
More Than Poetry: We take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without any music.
Pretty Pets: We want your feedback on “Pretty Petty Poetry”. We want to know on how we can improve on this business. We’re very open on your comments.
