Gas-x
By-Amanda D. Petty
A group of friends are at the park.
They are studying for their college exam.
SLAM, went the US history textbook.
A guy couldn’t understand what the assignment was.
He had mini sized question marks all over his face.
“My brain is fried!” He explains to his lady friend.
Buuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrp, his guy friend.
“Dude? Where are your manners?”
“At home.” He said.
Burp, burp, toot, toot, his guy friend did.
“Serious?”
“Sorry, I just had beans.”
“Tacos?” His head was nodding.
“Yes, how did you know?”
“Guilty!” He rose his hand.
“Why aren’t you?”
“I took some Gas-x about two hours ago.”
More Than Poetry: I
take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is
very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. I can understand. To
me, poetry is the true heart of a person. I describe it as: lyrics without any
music. Because of my speech, I can’t talk fast or normal; discovering poetry
has really opened me up.
Pretty Pets:
I want your feedback on “Pretty Petty Poetry”. I want to know on how I can
improve on this business. I’m very open on your comments.
