The strands of giant
 On this great terrestrial abode,
 The great giants of Negros once stood,
 Sailing the African ship on the globe,
 As wave rains everywhere hope.

 “The land of the rising sun”,
 How great this your son;
 “The land of seed pyramids”
 How fortunate this your son;
 “The land filled with tea ocean”,
 How awesome this your son.

 When the compatriots arise,
 The clarion call beckons,
 The strands of giant,
 As they pitch high the tent.

 Torrents from afar did tear you apart,
 Be agile, be a cat,
 Strong do stay, we slay the cat,
 Then, sweet shade of peace, our hat.

 And our Father land we shall serve,
 With all the vibe of life,
 Fear not a swerve,
 Till eternity, oh great nation stands your wave.

 Always in awesome wonder,
 How you survive anarchy after another,
 Soon will order,
 Save you from the ticking danger.

More Than Poetry: We take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without any music.
