It’s the first day of Summer. So, in that spirit, I did this one in my early years of being a poet. Enjoy.

Wearing cute shorts.
Getting a nice tan.
Having so much fun.
Very hot days.
Kids are very happy.
Some parents are extremely sad.
School is out.
Summer is HERE!
