Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week
Hello
Pretty Pets, welcome to the “Pretty Petty’s Poem of the Week” issue. This will
be a weekly issue. We are Amanda D. Petty and Eric Brown, and we’re poets. This
will show off our diversion of our poetry. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”.
If you want more information, go to: www.prettypettypoetry.blogspot.com.
Amanda’s dad passes away. This is about her
father.
My Dad
By-Amanda
D. Petty
Healing with a laugh, you did.
Making me giggle by trying to be a
poet.
The little things you do by fixing
my power wheelchair,
Watching our shows together, cooking
some good cookies.
The love, you showed me, will always
stayed with me forever.
You tried to be in world but instead
you just made my stomach hurt.
Hurting, weak, body, you’re seeing
Heavenly Father now.
Feeling your love, memories of us, will
stayed forever.
Dad, you mean the world to me.
I know I will see you again.
My dad, I love you.
More Than Poetry: We
take “Pretty Petty Poetry” very, very seriously. Some people think poetry is
very “old fashioned”, boring, and not that interesting. We can understand. To
us, poetry is the true heart of a person. Amanda describes it as: lyrics without
any music.
Pretty Pets:
We want your feedback on “Pretty Petty Poetry”. We want to know on how we can
improve on this business. We’re very open on your comments.
