Pretty Pettys Poem of the Week

Welcome to Pretty Petty Poetry Weekly. Every week, a different poet will write a poem. Enjoy.

Bravery

Bravery transcends a man's countenance
It isn't inscribed on his face lest he be boastful
Reserved is the bravery i know at a glance
The ability that springs seldom to face the painful.

Attaining victory isn't sure for every man   But amidst pain and death, the brave holds his ground
The Fear of life belittles one's lifespan
But the brave is ever gallant where horrors abound.

What bravery can compare that before impossibility
When life thirsts for death due to futile struggle
When dead hopes resurrect with vanity And nothing to show for a killing hustle.

Losers die many days before their death Bravery creates winners even at the point of death.
