Pretty Pettys Poem of the Week

Welcome to Pretty Petty Poetry Weekly. Every week, a different poet will write a poem. Enjoy.

I CRIED

She was my mom,
I could not pretend there was no problem,
She had fears,
With all the tears,
I cried.

All those days dad was not home,
She took the blame,
She carried the pain,
Everyday she cried a rain,
I cried.

I cried on her behalf,
She still had a belief,
Her man changing,
All those days she was planning,
I cried.

Because I knew she loved her husband,
Those days he went partying and excuse was the band,
He was wrong,
I knew they don't belong,
I cried.

When she was enough,
When things were tough,
She cried,
And I cried,
I cried.

When he realized he was loosing his lover,
He could not believe,
His wife was about to be taken,
He felt broken,
I cried.

Mother I'm sorry,
Sorry for all he did,
I Did not know the pain you felt,
I Felt like everything was ok,
I cried.

I cried for my mother,
I cried to my father,
Those days were bad,
All of them were mad,
I cried.

I cried they were breaking up,
That their marriage was done,
That it was the end,
I cried.
