Plea of the bragger (Peter)
I am an eye witness
of the One who called me "rock"
...He told me the truth
Listening to it is hard
...Three times I bragged
"I will never leave You", I said
But all I do is brag
I still denied Him to where He's been drag
I ran while His being crowned
Still, I am an eye witness
Denied Him in distress
I doubted and hid,
though He told me that
that day would come.
Death would be overcome
And so, after three days He rose
I never thought He would show
After all that I have done?
He still called me when I am down?
Yes, I am an eye witness
Became an apostle called in meekness
Killed as a martyr my bretheren too
So I plead to you, believe in what is true
Do you still believe that I am lying?
Did I and the others died for nothing?
Then, what's the point of lying while we are dying?
Use your brain, you media fed generation!
Majority-believing biases!
Easily stumble with emotions
I died for Jesus
For telling my generation
...That the Truth is what I saw
