My Thoughts: Some of you are new to "PPP" or "Pretty Petty Poetry". Yes, I'm sure you've read the "Intro" and the past newsletters too. But I feel I should tell you why I created PPP. Before PPP, I was very shy. "You were shy? Come on, really?" You're thinking. Yep, I was very scared of showing anyone my heart. I used to speed and hide when anyone asked me about poetry. It was bad, I thought. "So, what made you step out?" You're asking. Well, I guess, it was fear. It's true. Fear helped me to face fear. I know it's confusing, and I can't explain it. It's funny how this, PPP, has truly completely morph everything in my life. "Why the team?" You're wondering. That, I do not know, if I'm being honest. I guess, I need them to teach me about being patient, English, poetry, and much more. I'm beyond blessed to have them. I had 3 partners before Jon. To be truthful, I wasn't looking for another partner. I thought, since DC Poet was let go, I truly thought thought I could handle everything, but, He knew that I needed someone. But, the best Partner is Jesus Christ. He have been there for every up and down. I know He gave me this gift for a reason. To answer the million-dollar question, why did I create PPP for? Well, it has a few answers. But, the main reason is my voice. I told this  to my team, poetry is my voice. I am serious. If God hadn't given me this gift, I'd probably be not that not smart. PPP, in itself, is a God's sent. I can be an artist, designer, teacher, poet, and everything.

My Spiritual Thoughts:

This is a very powerful story about believing in miracles.

The News:

VERY BAD NEWS: I had to let go of my team because they aren’t doing their jobs on time. So, guess what? Jon and I need a new team. If you are TRULY interested in joining, emailed Jonathan or me or look up us on Facebook. Jonathan is Jon.

Jon’s Challenge: In April, Jon challenges me to do 50 chair push-ups by June. If you know me, I don't back down to a challenge. On April 23, 2019, I did 50, and I'm still doing them.

Your Thoughts: We truly want your thoughts on this poem:

When you're gone

I could feel those loneliness,
until it become the darkness.
I couldn't found my happiness,
in this life that full of emptiness.

Feel the love,
on what you have.
Cause when you're here,
always will remain those.

My life was miserable,
until you came to me as able.
I could feel the light,
in my feet and ready to fight.

Fight within my ability,
those power remain as pity.
Never give up until,
the fight was over and fulfil.

Now, you're gone,
life was done.
No more happiness,
nothing left but sadness.

Quotes of the Month: Don’t see with your eyes, see with your heart.

Poem of the Month:

The first weekend of April and October are my favorite weekends of the year. If you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, you know what I’m talking about. If not, it’s a very Spiritual time for us, the members. The Apostles and the Leaders of the Church give up guidance, wonderful music, and you feel Him more than usual. This is General Conference. In April, Conference was very good, as usual. But, there was a Talk that truly touched me. A week later, I wrote a paralism/Spiritual poem. It took me a few days to write it. While writing this, a friend came to visit. I let her read what I had. She said this poem reminds her of the Talk. I just laughed to myself because that was my plan. The poem is, “Feel the Light of Him”, and it goes…

Feel the Light of Him
By-Amanda D. Petty

Hurting?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll Heal you.

Lonely?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll makes you feel important.

Crying?
Feel the Light of Him, who knows the unseen tears.

Depressed?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll bequeath you a smile.

Down?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll raise you to new heights.

Hated?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll gives you unquestionable love.

Unwanted?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll makes you feel needed.

Trapped?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll emancipate you.

Lost?
Feel the Light of Him, who desire you to be in His Arms.

Confused?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll make it clear.

Upset?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll calm you.

Lie?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll gives you The Truth.

Tired?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll gives you rest.

Weak?
Feel the Light of Him, who'll gives you strength.

Just feel the Light of Christ.

Want help: If you want to help with “Pretty Petty Poetry”, you can! We are looking for some volunteers to help with the desktop wallpapers and getting us clients. We can’t do everything by ourselves anymore, too stressful.

For New Comers: This is AMANDA’S idea to do this organization. Everything you see is her alone with the help from God. This is a part of “Pretty Petty Poetry”. She has been studying English with the help from a professor, Nancy Lowe, from Weber State University, Utah, USA since October of 2011.
